Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program provides a balanced, Christ-centered approach to learning that supports students academically, socially, physically, and spiritually. Students learn primarily through the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) PACEs, supplemented with Abeka materials for math and reading. A phonics-based approach helps children develop a strong foundation in reading, while hands-on activities and manipulatives make mathematical concepts such as numbers, measurement, and basic operations engaging and meaningful. Science lessons encourage students to explore God's creation and recognize His wisdom and love throughout the world around them.

Much of the Kindergarten day includes whole-class instruction, allowing students to learn and participate together. Reading instruction is also individualized through a series of phonetic readers, giving each child the opportunity to progress at an appropriate pace as they build confidence and advance to more complex books.

Learning is made memorable through weekly music classes, recess, show-and-tell, and Thursday color days. Students also enjoy special celebrations and themed dress-up days, including Pajama Day, Western Day, Career Day, the 100th Day of School, and school spirit days. These experiences encourage creativity, confidence, friendship, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
